heh. i just happened to look at my NPCC family photo taken 2 years ago. when jie sheng's batch was still here. our unit back then was big. real big man. there was seven rows of cadets, cadet inspectors and officers altogether. i think its pretty cool. i mean, seriously la. haha. but now, all i can say is 'NP can survive good already'. hmm. pardon me for saying this unit's getting from bad to worse. sighs. i'm not blaming the NCOs now but more of CIs. well, i cant really say much now though. now that i'm talking about NP, i shall talk about my NP life. haha.
lets see what i had done throughout this 3 years plus. i cant remember much about sec 1. haha. got promoted to lance corporal at year end and i got into fancy drill team.
now to sec 2. hmm. first ATC with area 2. kinda sucks like shit. real slack and all. and there was area games day at north vista i guess. participated in tug-of-war, badminton and captains ball. badminton got silver, tug-of-war first? i cant remember. captains ball lost. a great experience though. (:
joined several competitions too. i think there was captains ball competition at north vista. lost. haha. but nevermind. (: netball competition at SJC i think. lost totally. haha. then there was this T.O.W competition at some faraway school? haha. won first and third in cheerleading? haha. theres also badminton competition at bukit panjang govt high. whole team won champion. (: cant recall anymore already. haha.
then i got into campcraft team too. trained like shit. in the end changed to basha. LOL. and there was BOLT camp. when our squad bonded and were trained to be NCOs. promoted to corporal then. as far as i can remember, thats all for sec 2. ha.
sec 3 was pretty much of a busy year. hmm. events are not according to date but according to just MY MEMORIES. haha. lets see. trained for campcraft com again. got hit by the fallen flagpole. haha. then was the competition itself. got 22nd place. not too bad ba. then there was this classification shoot. got my marksman badge. joined the shooting competition. ha. there was T.O.W competition again at NVSS. on the same day as our leisure camp i guess. lost to SJC and got 2nd. haha. then there was ATC. with my own area this time. area 7. kinda enjoyed it. aries was my group. got to know weishan, cindy from SSS. shah from SKSS. theresa and friend from NVSS. sab from CVSS. jolene and yueying from SJC. junyuan? from punggol sec. i was with wati by the way. haha.
oh yes. did i mention SYF? haha. got used to all these rushing-from-school-to-compassvale sessions for training at HTA. haha. those fighting for toilet with SJC and HIHS. got to know them more too. like yueying and atiqa? hmm. there were also water session where bottles and bottles of mineral water thrown at us. haha.
next was area games day. participated in T.O.W like always. haha. joined talent time too. played a little of soccer too. didnt play captains ball due to clashing of time. AND! NAN CHIAU WON OVERALL CHAMPION. haha. oh, and we won SJC in tugging. LOL. no offence though. hmm.
promoted to sergeant too. there are bits and pieces of memories here and there. haha. cant remember much. AND! there was MALACCA TRIP too. haha. had much fun too. (: thats all i can remember la. oh yes, got our posts as well. posted as sec 2 squad drill instructor with weisiang. the name of drill instructor sound so nice, like teach drills only. but no. cheat my feelings. LOL. was in-charge of their everything except for lectures cause i dont give them a damn. haha.
now, for sec 4. hmm. promoted to SSGT. went for ATF. then there was area 7 carnival day. hmm. didnt join T-O-W though. oh well, lucky that i didnt though. played captains ball with an injured ankle somemore. i wont forget man. lols. beat HIHS in the finals. was told that we depended on captains ball to win overall champion. pressure was on but we still won. small conflicts and all la. and so, we were overall champion again! haha. ((:
took part in shooting com again. there was another malacca trip again. ((: with badminton players this time. and tadaa. we passed out. hmm. yeah. oh yes. didnt mention i planned some camps too. as in help to plan. hmm. like BOLT camp, ALTC and this year leisure camp or isit ALTC? lols.
EH. i forgot to mention LMSC last year. got to know JOYCE and jiamin. and more la. haha. JOYCE is a BIG BULLY sia. haha. had been in contact with her. lols. there was PK course too.
uh huh. guess thats all ba. too much to write about la. oh ya. got the cca awards thing. and was chatting with aaron. about unfairness and all la. like how mr tien was biased and about NP and CIs. hmm. ya. ha.
hmm. thats how fast time flies. time is like a river. the water which we once touched will never be the same again as river flows. when time had passed, theres no use trying to go back. hmm. i had learnt a lot of things in NPCC. all those experiences are damn precious. i found friendships and love in NPCC. learnt how to cope with work, how to handle situations and i really grew up and changed a lot. there are a lot of things that words cant express.
hmm. i guess thats all. and i realised 4 of my ex comes from NPCC. haha. this shows that my life revolved around NP the last few years. not now though. haha. (: okay okay. this post is so long. haha. ((:
