heard the song 'graduation' just now. many thoughts just came to me. guess its the most emo song living on earth. i mean, it just makes everyone feel sad. unless you dont have a heart. was smsing sam just now. talking about how time flies. we sang graduation and yi lu shun feng for the first batch POP. and thats how fast time flies. almost 4 years had passed. and now, Os gonna end in less than two weeks. we haven had a last proper NP session if you realised. not a photo taken too.

soon, we'll be out of this school, moving on with new lives. we feel sad, we feel regretful, we get all sorts of feelings. we're all sentimental people. but still, time's not gonna stop right there and pity you, will it? i say cut time's wings and sam said, that is if we can find time. how true is that.

many a times, people take things for granted. we procrastinate. we delay. we regret. but why this? when we were taught not to procrastinate, it still happens. tons of things left undone. rotting at the back of our minds. but still, our hands dont do anything. and then, time flies, right pass you, without you knowing.

how sad do you actually feel when you say you're sad. how hard is hard when you say you've tried hard. how many of us can actually leave the school with no regrets? absolutely not me in this case.

couples come together, couples break. one fell in love with the other while one hates the other. one befriends one and neglect the other. many things happened. tears shed and blood dripped. not kidding you. camps and lessons. knowledge and character. how much had you achieved in this four years? ask yourself. academic? CCA? character? not many had excel totally. how do you define success? 6As and no friends? or average studies with many true friends? i reckon you know the answer yourself. four years in NP and i made many new friends. found my courage and found ways to be a better man.

when you grow old, would you stand up and chuckle at how nerdy you looked back then. or would you stand up and say, 'hey, thats me. i may be nerdy but i found pure happiness back then'?

i remembered someone told me, that happiness had to be fought for. it doesnt come naturally. but still, no matter how hard some fight, they still dont get their happiness. thats how paradoxical this world is. you dont have a choice about your life. even though they say you shape your own future, how many of us do have the spade to do so? not likely the ordinary us i would say. we are not hitler. not stalin. not lee kuan yew. not anyone with great ideas and minds to build a nation. we're just students, who live by what they had to. spoonfed and protected. in the cruel society, its either you beat others or you get beaten, right? and thats why everyone's striving so hard now. and thats when friendships start to turn sour like an unripe lemon. blood spill everywhere when you backstab others.

sometimes, you'd ponder about this, is this my friend? why had everything change? and there's one and only answer. TIME. time changes EVERYTHING. there's no forever friends. there's no true love. there's nothing time cant change. and thats how evil and cruel it is. you may think that you hadnt change but take a look at yourself now and one that's say 4-6 years back. dont be naive to think that nothing changes. because everything had changed. so much so that you get so used to changes that you wouldnt care less.

as time pass, we get to see friends less often. as it goes; out of sight, out of mind. sad to say yet true enough to admit. procrastination is the thief of time. so DONT procrastinate. neither do you wait till something bad befalls then you speak your mind. it'll be more than too late.

its never too late to amend your mistakes. true, or not? how late is late? or is it best to say dont even make a mistake or worse still, dont even bother doing anything. nothing ventured, nothing gained. you cant make an omelette without breaking eggs, can you? to err is human, to forgive is divine.

therefore, it all comes down to the fact that its human nature to make mistakes. and how mordant this world is.

back to some things which i saw. some photos of people. though i may not know them for long, i could sense the change in them. its just one year plus and everyone changed. those photos back then, were so much different. so much more innocent. i'm guilty of changing too. however, a change may not be bad after all. it all depends on how you see it. love or not love. friends or not friends, its all over. life still goes on.

i know its a long post full of crap. i dont know why, but i had the urge to type so much, even with a swollen finger. hmm. thats about what i want to say i guess.

what the eye doesnt see, the heart doesnt grieve over.
how i wish that time will go back, and i'll take back that gift. just to remain friends with you. how i wish that i hadnt had that feeling for you. how i wish that we could be good friends instead. and i regret.
